How we help you

Day Programs

Our Day Program service is a fantastic way to get involved in different activities and try something new. We offer a range of activities such as cooking classes, disco nights, various group activities and outings, each that contribute to developing life skills that help you to live your life to the fullest they way you want to.

We work continuously with you to make sure you we are providing the activities you love to do and are doing so in a happy, safe, fun environment that encourages you to be the best version of yourself.

Our services are designed to help you live life on your own terms and to develop the skills required for your personal circumstances so you can remain as independent as possible. Our highly trained staff are here to deliver you excellent support and care on your journey with us so that you can make the most out of your NDIS plan.

Supported Independent Living

We want to empower you to live as independently as possible so that you can lead the life you choose to. Being in control of your life on a daily basis is an important part of maintaining your independence and we can help you to do this through our Supported Independent Living service. 

Everyone is different and faces their own challenges, so we understand that everyone has different goals. Our Supported Independent Living service is adaptable to your specific needs and what you require to live your life as independently as you choose to. This may mean you want support maintaining your home and keeping it clean, or maybe you want to learn how to cook a nutritious meal, regardless of what your goals are we are able to assist.

SIL

Group Activities

Building connections with like-minded people is a fantastic way to build your confidence. With our Group Activities service, we provide a platform for you to partake in activities that interest you in a safe environment where you can meet all kinds of different people who are eager to try new things and make new friends too. Keeping social and developing your skills is also a great way to keep mentally fit and increase your happiness.

If there is an activity you would like to try, a new skill you'd like to learn or you just want to get out in your community and meet new people, get in touch with us and can work with you to make it happen.

A Supportive Hug

Mental Health Support

Gold Disability Care delivers specialised social support to people who are experiencing and living with mental health and psychosocial disabillities. We are dedicated to helping individuals improve their psychological and spiritual wellbeing through the encouragement of social participation and interaction.

Specialised Disability Accommodation

We provide safe and comfortable accommodation services for individuals in need of Specialised Disability Accommodation. Our residences are specially modified and designed to suit individuals with a range of disabilities and our team are highly trained to provide individualised SIL services within our amazing homes.

Respite Care

Our Respite Care service is available to look after participants and clients for short term stays and also provide their carers or guardians with a break from their routine. During the participants stay they will get the opportunity to experience life outside of their regular routine, whether that be trying new activities, meeting new people or enjoying an exciting, new environment.

Nursing Care

We are here to make life that little bit easier for you and give you the support you need. Our Nursing Care service covers a range of different tasks that we adapt to your specific requirements. Examples of what we can help you with under this service, but not limited to, are;

> PEG and nasogastric feeding
> Administration of medication

> Feeding assistance

> Bedside care and assistance

> Light domestic assistance

> Escort to doctors appointments

> Companionship

> Assistance with meal preparation

> Community access

In-Home Care

> GDS supports people living with disability to be as independent as possible within their own home
> Assistance with community access
> Light domestic assistance
> Helping with outings, social activities and other daily routines
> Assistance with Travel/Transport Arrangements
